Project Overview
This enormous apartment complex on the Thames has a very special water feature. It holds 30,000 litres of water, is fully tiled and incorporates three water fountains. A waterfall over-spill sits at one end with plants lining both inside and outside borders of the shallow pool. Plants, therefore, had to be embedded not in soil but in the water itself. Traditional chlorine treatment was out – it would simply kill the plants. And a standard sanitisation system would struggle to maintain water quality because the pool is outside, exposed to all weathers. Hydroxypure cleans the water while the filter’s fish tail increases filtration quality and reduces water loss through backwashing.
