Project Overview
Chlorine water treatment was taking its toll in the academy’s heavily used, 14-metre, 100,000-litre indoor pool. The chemical smell had become suffocating in the enclosed space. Chloramines were affecting the health and enjoyment of swimmers, while their corrosive properties were also causing pool surfaces to rust.

Students and staff enjoy water free of smells and irritants.
Swimmers with especially sensitive skin, eyes and lungs now use the pool.
Integrity of the indoor pool’s surfaces and equipment is preserved.
Academy proudly hosted Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games athletes.
